Hi guys, new to the forum and PC building in general.

I was wondering if you guys could spec me a build? It'll be used predominantly for gaming and I've got a budget of around £500-£550 to play with. I've got a case and a PSU, so I don't need them, and I've got a television which I can use as a monitor. Everything else is required though.

Thanks! :)

Do you need a copy of Windows 7? What about peripherals, keyboard/speakers/mouse?

Do you have a hard drive or DVD-RW you can reuse at all?

What case and power supply do you have?

..oh...and welcome to the forums!:p

Cheers for the welcome, and quick response!

Yep, need all of that good stuff, except the speakers and mouse.

And I've got a Coolermaster Elite 334U case and a Coolermaster GX 650W PSU to accompany it.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind along with the things you listed. :)

Also what games are you most likely to play?

I'd like to be able to play BF3, Skyrim, etc. to a decent-ish standard. Obviously I'm aware I might not be able to get something which will run it on max settings.

Best to ask just before you're about to buy. Prices change weekly etc and what's spec'd above may not necessarily be the best bang for buck. Also hopefully we'll have more info on intels next generation of processors, ivy bridge by then too.

Yeah, I thought the same myself regarding the changing prices. Was just looking for ideas and suggestions, which you guys have provided. :)
