Gaming Calendar

Hey folks,

I like many of you enjoy playing multiplayer working in teams. I find that when i play on BFBC2 i always end up on a team of idiots who don't know how to attack/defend.

I know a lot of you guys play BFBC2 but when i'm on, hardly any of you are!

Now, this got me thinking... could we create a 'gaming calander' where we can add events on certain dates/times where we will all be on?

This would mean that we could know when everyone is going to be on and it would be great if we all used the same server.

Thoughts?

Sounds like a great idea... No one on my friends list is ever on when I am.

Maybe this way we can have people that game in the day, people that game in the evening, people in the early hours... That way we can add the appropriate people to our friend lists

Yeah I'm up for this.

Wouldn't it be easier to have a BFBC2 Steam group? You can set events through Steam too.

The problem with that is that only really admins can do that. Plus it requires a everyone to sign up for multiple game steam groups.

I like the idea of an OcUK games calendar (perhaps a shared google doc or something?).

We've already got the main OcUK group. I have admin on there so I can add a link to the calendar and even an announecment if people like.

EDIT - Could we not use the Calendar on the forums? Or could the mods create a seperate calendar for us?

Every day on the forum cal is filled with 50ish birthdays. Seems like it'd be a little cluttered.

I found this site online, basically what you can do is make the calender, then give people the passwords to add/edit/delete events.

Is it possible to use this if the game is downloaded via EA rather than Steam?

I think using google calendar would be better to be honest.
