Gaming capture software / video editing

Hi All,

my daughter like most kids wants to try making some youtube videos and capturing the games she plays on her PC.

she plays games like minecraft etc.

she has an AMD 580, i know nvidia has a capture method built in that works well, does AMD do the same?

then after capturing what is a good bit of software to edit the videos with, adding music / sounds / images etc?

OBS Studio is free and can capture as well as stream to Twitch / Youtube etc. For video editing, what is your budget? I use Adobe Premiere Pro, but that is not cheap. There are some more affordable options here if you like:

DaVinci Resolve has a free version of its professional editing software.

As above, OBS for capture and Davinci Resolve for editing.

You could also look at KDEnlive and Openshot for slightly simpler editors.

Ill give them all a look over, and i hadn't looked into pricing etc yet.

Probably going to try a free version of one of the above and see if the little one keeps the interest

I don't know the particulars of that particular card but I did spot that the latest driver package thingy from ATI has game capture built in.
I think I also spotted it can auto stream to social networking as well.
