My office chair with the broken leg held on with duct tape has served me well but I need a new chair for Gaming and am checking out these 'gaming chairs'. No idea about them yet, or the difference between vertagear or noble or nitro etc.

Where to start? Budget: about £300 or so, more for something that is really worth it. Mainly just need solid lumbar support and comfort for long gaming sessions.

No idea what the differences are between these chairs, what would people recommend? The noblechairs look good but I see there were a few issues with them in that thread, have they been resolved now?

unless gaming chairs have speakers, sub, buttkicker and ability to lock swivel and castors for driving games I just see them as dorky expensive chairs,

Any recommendations?

I hadn't thought of speakers, but actually that might be pretty good, I'll have a look, cheers.

Also, what is buttkicker?

I've had a normal office chair for like ten years, this is all new to me.
