Hi all,

I have owned an executive leather chair for 10 years which I purchased for £85. It's got to a stage where it now needs replacing and I am contemplating a gaming chair.

Are they really worth the price compared to me just purchasing a new executive leather chair?

I've been looking at GT Omega and Vertagear S Line.

I'm not sure what to look for though in a gaming chair so any advice or article links would be appreciated :)

A lot of leather gaming chairs don't use real leather. Repeated use of fake leather causes it to chip and peel and makes the chair look tacky IMO.
I would recommend a chair that offers good back support. If you are sitting for an extended period of time having good support for your back does pay off in the long run.

I purchased this in April; is comfy to use for extended gaming sessions and my back does not get sore (unless I'm slouching lol)
Also the mesh is breathable so no smelly BO when I stand up compared to leather which is quite insulating of heat.

Hope this helps.
