Gaming chair

Hi all.

I am looking for something that I can sit in when I play games. My sofa is ok but I find that I am too far away when playing FPS games and I would like to be a bit closer.

I end up sitting on the edge of my sofa which isn't very comfy and my back ends up hurting.

As I gamer a bean bag like chair would annoy me when gaming. It's not solid enough and would make noises.

What about the rocker chair?
 
I think loads of different companies make them. Its Like a rocking chair only its a floor chair rather than one that elevates you up.

hehe, i had the same dilemma and ended up using one of those camping chairs that has a hole at the right hand side for your can of beer :) - i got a funky ted baker one with a sweet design so looks pretty cool and is damn comfy and best of all, folds up to nothing when its not in use and sits behind the door :)
 
I have a bean bag I use for gaming and it's great - really comfy and you can't hear it at all.

I wouldn't pay £60 for one though - got mine from Dunelm for £29.99

Interesting. Yeah £60 is a bit much really.

Joebob, that one looks pretty good, but it would be cool to have something that has something to the sides as well as an arm rest.

I want to get something in time for GTA 4 :)
 
My cousins got a rocker chair and its really nice but can get a little uncomfortable after a while.

Costs an arm and a leg but is the comfiest thing in the known universe :)

We went for a middle sized one which easily fits two people and is perfect for gaming on your tod. People fight to get the budda bag when they come round to watch a movie.
 
My gf nearly bought me a Pyromat, which is a rocker chair. Contains surround sound (wireless I believe) and also a place for your MP3 player to sit and plug into which I thought was nifty.

She bought me a guitar in the end...... never got to try it out though,
 
I was looking for a bean bag for gaming in the living room but they all seem so expensive :/

That pic doesn't really do it justice as it looks too upright, I'm 6' 2" and my head just reaches the top of the back of the beanbag for reference. I have never been bothered about armrests as I sit with the controller almost on my lap.
 
I have two bean bags that i use in my lounge.

Problem is the carpet is starting to look lighter in the middle. It is a new carpet though .
 
Yeah the gaming one from beanbagbazar, had a dispatch email so should hopefully recive it tomorrow, will post pictures and thought in this thread for you.
