Hey chaps!

Could you please spec me a gaming chair up to 200 pounds? I am looking for something comfy, preferably with a headrest.

Thanks!

A 'Gaming' Chair is much like a 'Wedding' Chair, it's just a chair. With an extra £50-100 added on because of the name. Just buy a decent chair and paint go-faster stripes on it if you really, really must have a 'Gaming' chair.

Okay what I meant by gaming chair is that, I will probably spend a lot of time sitting on it during the day; it has to be a) comfortable and b) ergonomic

Steelcase Leap v1/2 for £120 on Ebay refurbished, I got one and it is perfect for the money, only thing I dislike is it isn't high backed.

Then don't buy a 'Gaming Chair', they're the opposite of comfortable. Have a look a decent office/workstation desk chair.

I hope you don't include DXRacer in that, That Markus you suggested is rubbish compared to a DXRacer, Curious to see what you call a "Gaming Chair", One of those £20 ones you get with the speakers and all that attached while you sit on the floor in a rocking position?

If you want comfort and ergonomics for sitting all day then buy something by Herman Miller, Humanscale or Steelcase.

I don't think anyone needs a bucket seat to sit at a desk?

Like I say to people questioning "bucket seats" for their cars.
I slap them in the face and tell them to wake up.

They are not comfy, any of them. To sit in one for more than 10 minutes would put my derriere through its paces.

Go to a place that sells office furniture, sit in each and every one of the chairs they stock, purchase the nicest over cost.
12hr+ chairs are plenty available.

Get a second hand Steelcase Leap, or something similar and don't waste your money on these "gaming" chairs. Honestly all these chairs are the same, 3 parts, slap a bit of padding on it in a cool design and market it as gaming, or ergonomic. It's BS. For £100 you can get a used proper ergonomic chair.
