I'm also on the lookout for a new chair, preferably one with a biggish cushion to sit on so it lasts a bit longer comfit wise? The Kashmir from Staples deteriorated very quickly indeed.

Are AK racing ones worth the premium over the Arozzi's and why do the AK's differ in price so much? The most expensive one is £100 more than the cheapest one.

Search the thread on this forum and see how many got duff chairs even after OCUK paid a peep to check them all first.

It was in " Latest News, Deals & Special Offers" section.

There is better chairs but even more costly.

If anyone wants I will go and find the 2 video reviews and link here, 1 was DXRacer and other I had not heard of.

Don't get suckered in to these 'gaming/racing chairs'. They're far from good and cost a fortune over very good quality office chairs.

Ikea Markus is probably the most recommended office chair I know of and it's really nice and comfy.

I got this one, fantastic chair.

I'm a pretty large bloke to be honest, so finding a chair that supports my weight, my back and is all around comfortable was a must. After I had initially bought this chair and tried it out I could immediately tell the difference in other chairs I'd bought prior.

The support instantly hits the right spots and just gives you all around comfort, the armrests are cushioned as well so no grinding your elbows/arms down on the rests when playing games, and the high back on the chair allows you to just kick back and relax, great when I'm watching TV or playing on the console.

Thanks for that, how did you find out how much the chair would hold weight wise? I'm 6"4 and 16 stone so I'm in the same boat!

thanks looks like the chairs are very bad quality won't be getting one of them. dx chairs are nice but a little too expensive for me and im not too sure on the arm rests

Dude just use the power of the internet and look up office chairs. You can buy a decent jobbie for £100 ish that should last and be comfortable. These racing chairs are just a gimmick and are not worth the risk in my view.

Last time I did that the chair fell apart in 2 days...then I found the same chair for half the price being sold by the same guy.

I'll stick with the actual retailers.

I have an FK automotive chair, very similar to the OC'ers ones, and paid £175 for it never again, it was great at first, then the side wings that connect to the cushion base split on both sides, as soon as the base broke in. It was like the sides were too tight to allow for it being used. it was very comfortable for about 2 months, then nothing but, a flat bum, and back ache, even though the back is adjustable.

I personally don't think they are any good for sitting at a desk, the position is all wrong, at the end of the day, they are converted car seats, and thus designed for being in cars. I've ended up buying a memory foam single bed matress topper, for a cushion, also for neck and lumbar support.
