Gaming Club's

Hi Guys,

I am hoping that there may be a fountain of knowledge that may help me, I'm looking for a Gaming Club based around OcUK's HQ as sadly I don't have anyone to game with

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'll have a wee chat with some of my friends in the far flung corners of this country and see what's about!

What sort of distance are you happy with travelling?

A very quick Google suggests Shire Games (shop in Stoke) seem to run 2 nights a week - 1 at a pub and the other at their shop, linky!

Also Staffordshire Wargamers maybe worth a punt!

Just found Geekbox just down the road from the shop too by the looks of things!

I play 40K and I am willing to Travel, I used to go to Warhammer World to play with a member of staff here, however they have moved on to pastures new so it's all gone quiet.

Take a look on the BoardGameGeek forums. They have a whole section devoted to gaming clubs and groups.

A quick search tells me that Shire Games in Stoke run a club on Thursday nights. They would absolutely be able to tell you where the hamsters meet.

I'll try and remember to ask one of my friends, he's from up your end of the woods and his dad is/was a huge wargaming fan (I think one of the clubs they went to did warhammer/40k).

They're in Fenton so not too far away. Ed (the owner) often runs events & things. He used to (and may very well still) run a Dice and Slice night. Pizza & gaming .
