Gaming Computer Build Check and Advice

@Liampope - so are there any clear leaders for the 1155/P67 chip in terms of motherboards? Any partiularly easy for first time gamin pc builds with interest in OCing for he first time?
 
OK, I have been reading up quite a bit and think I will go for the:

...over the i7-950. I think this is a wise choice and from what I can interpret (and with no knowledge of the future market) the lg1155 chipset should be around a few years?!

What are people thinking about the sandybridge tech - remembering my only pc at current is a 4 and a half year old MSI Mega Book S262!!

Oh, and finally, if I go with this motherboard would the Frio CPU cooler still fit?
