Do these actually exist? All I can see are a couple that don't seem to be available anywhere, and another few that look more like some kind of sex bondage device. Any suggestions or places to look would be great.

Cheers

Umm, perhaps asking on a forum dedicated to flight simulator users etc? that may turn something up.

Desks are so complicated these days. I have been looking for years and cannot find any suitable, they are always in excess of design or price.

If I had the tools I would make a desk myself. Three bits of wood is all that's needed, 2 sides and a top and just cut/mill/saw male and female fittings and slot it all together.

I had very briefly thought about making one myself, but quickly caught myself on when I remembered I have virtually no creativity and am a handless clown. I've come across these Obutto ones now, but again they seem overly complex for what I want.

No, I'm just after a comfortable gaming desk and without costing a fortune. A few hundred quid is about as far as I'd stretch, or maybe a bit more if I saw something I really liked.

Search for second hand Ikea Galant on a popular auction site.

With Ikea Galant you can add extra sections to wrap around room etc, it's also strong and height adjustable, try and get the frames with the stronger parallel legs to floor.

I have well over £2k worth of Ikea Galant furniture in my house, and everything cost under £400.

Just keep searching everyday until something comes up local and the condition looks good.

I got a great corner desk for £100 from a "fishy" internet site

Not sure if I can quote the site even if OCUK don't sell desks?

I am extremely happy with it tho it's not sold as a "gaming desk"

Build one yourself.
Worktop, legs...that's it really. Saw and screwdriver. Your limit is your imagination and ingenuity.

If you can build a PC, you can build a desk

I used a plan from gtplanet.com to get a racing pod for a g25 (google for it) then added a mount for 3x monitors and various bits for mouse and the like.

Check out my link.

Take a perfectly good normal desk.
Paint it black, with zingy green stripes and whack some Razer stickers on it.
Double the price.
There ya go - One "gaming" desk!!

Generally I find most "gaming" products are just reasonably good normal ones with the above added, in order to sell to gullible kids...
A few have decent features, while the pritty pritty lights are just fun bling.

Personally, I'd suggest either a good, solid desk, with mods added yourself (it's plenty easy) or a from-scratch custom-build.
If you're doing something HOTASey, adding mounting platforms to your chair will likely yield better results and be far easier than messing around with multi-level desky things.
