Thanks for that I can even tell myself from that spec it would be best would be best building the machine myself. I am happy with a 22inch monitor. It will be 1 week before I order. Once kit arrived could I post on here for help etc. What to do first lol
in that case, bump this thread on wednesday because the this week only deals will have changed.
as for what to do first, this is what i would have done in hindsight (what i actually did meant removing the graphics card about a billion times):
1. screw in all motherboard stand-offs that will be used (easiest way to find out which will be used is pretend to fit the motherboard, then see what stand-off screws will be needed)
2. screw PSU into case
3. look at where different cables will need to go and route what cables you can accordingly (power and case cables)
4. attach hard drive(s) into case
5. attach RAM into motherboard (motherboard outside of case)
6. attach processor into socket
7. attach cooler onto motherboard
8. attach motherboard to case. make sure you havent forgotten any standoffs otherwise the motherboard will short on the case, possibly killing it
9. attach DVD drive to case
10. wire up absolutely everything thats inside the case
11. determine what rear expansion slots will need to be removed for the graphics card to fit and remove them (they may need to be physically cut from the case, or they may be screwed on. i cant tell from the pictures)
12. attach graphics card to motherboard and case
13. connect power cables to motherboard
14. attach whatever external wires you need
i cant remember which disk you will need in the machine first, windows 7 or motherboard drivers. i think its the disk that comes with the motherboard that you will need first but im happy to be proved wrong there
*edit*
highlighted importance of motherboard standoffs
