Hello
I am thinking of building a gaming desktop computer. This are the components i would like to include:
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth
CPU: Intel i7 3770k 3.50ghz
Hard drives: Samsung 128 GB SSD 830 Series + WD Caviar Green 2TB
Memory: Corsair Dominator 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C10 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
Cooling: Noctua NH-D14 Dual Radiator CPU Cooler (Socket LGA1366/LGA1156/LGA1155/LGA775/AM2/AM2)

I already have a PSU Alpine 700w(ebay) and an HIS 6870 Iceq HD graphics card which i bought last year from your website. It is massive and what i would like from you is to suggest a case that can fit the above components.
Plus any recommendations about more fans and what sort of fans i would need would be very useful. I want the case to be quite cheap as I dont emphasize on the exterior.

Thank you

P.S If you have any ither recommendations about my setup pls feel free to say them.

If this rig is just for pure gaming then you won't benefit from the hyper-threading, so you could save yourself some money and just drop to an i5 3570K and overclock that. I would also suggest just getting 8GB as games don't even take up that much. Also that psu is just going to take all them parts and kill them. NEVER SKIMP ON THE PSU. as for a case the only thing you will have to look out for is being able to support ATX form factor and be able to fit that D14. I'll have a look at a case now. Anything you want in particular? Silence? or just preformance?

YOUR BASKET
1 x Fractal Design Define R4 Midi Tower Case - Titanium Grey £99.98
1 x Cooler Master CM-690 II Lite Windowed Gaming Tower Case - Black £69.98
Total : £184.97 (includes shipping : £12.50).

This is what i would go for in a case, the fractal design for silence and the CM 690 if you don't mind the sound of fans. If you don't like any of these cases then just take a look at the range OCUK have and choose which you like. I'm sure someone will be able to tell you if it's any good or not..

Thanks for the quick response. Any PSU recomendations? and how about the cases conorjoshua mentioned? Any comments on those?

good idea. The setup should last a while, only thing you might want to upgrade at a later date the GPU.thanks

Im just before ordering but a thought came into my mind and wanted to ask. How much difference would i see in performance if instead of the i5 and the gigabyte motherboard i go for the i7 and the sabertooth motherboard?

Thank you
