Gaming display advice.

Hi,

I recently acquired 2 samsung 913bm 19" tfts.

My spec for this system are: amd 3500, 1gig ram, abit ul8, nvidia 4600 ti.

My question:

When gaming can I set up the screen so the game displays across both screens as opposed to just using one?

If yes please advise how?

I have tried messing with the settings and cannot get it to work....

it depends on what resolution you are playing in game. Some games do not support wide screen resolution.
I suspect that your gfx card may not be able to handle high res in game.

You also have the problem of the crosshair being in the centre of the display, so half on one screen half on the other.

i get my new 7900gtx in about a week...

how can i overcome the cross hairs being in the centre of the screen? as at the moment that is what is happening with COD2 online...

I basically used H SPAN @ 2560 x 1024 and altho it worked the cross hairs in the middle made it confusing....how can I overcome that?

I thought all new games supported widescreen res?

pls clarify...

a 3rd monitor or you could give fresnel lenses a try
