Gaming enhancment idea's

i have no idea on amd,it might be ok

fraps has always been like that no matter how good a gpu you have,it limits the fps to whatever you set it to record at in fraps,30fps or 60fps ect

some games record perfectly no lag at all, others have issues, games like rage record badly with fraps aswell

Yeah games like minecraft, BF3, Run perfect on my system while recording its just ARMA II DayZ mod that seems to go funny. I was just making sure its not my system that i need to upgrade a bit more to handle it. i just hope my system stay's up to date for a few months atleast. my credit card melted buying each part from all over the place. atleast i saved myself around £200/£300 building it myself. that £200/£300 goes towards my son's christmas present. :)

i would wait a while on spending more, just look on youtube for rage fraps issues, its just the recording software, there are others but ive never tried them

Cheers buddy. I will look in to it, I used to use bandicam but it never registered some games but it records a smaller file i believe its not in HD also.

Still a good quality picture if your just doing screen capture for desktop ect....

There's a few things in this thread which are wrong...

Firstly there's nothing wrong with GTX 560's, they're basically GTX 460's at higher clock speeds. GTX550's are quite a bit worse though.

Also in AMD systems I've had in the past the ram should be in the slots next to each other, not with a space in between like in Intel systems.

As for Arma2/DayZ that game runs like a pile of **** end of. You won't be getting high frame rates with an AMD processor or with a 7770 graphics card either. There was people in the DayZ thread running the latest i5 processor with high end SLI cards complaining of low FPS - the game is REALLY unoptimized. Also when recording video from the same hard drive that the game is playing from you will nearly always get slow down, you need to record to another spare hard drive or even better a super fast SSD.
