I'm in the market for a gaming rig. Due to very limited space, it'll have to be a laptop rather than a desktop. I need answers for two questions I have so I can get the most for my money
First, for those knowledgeable of models currently on the market, I'm asking for a small list of a few of the best gaming laptops that can handle the latest and greatest games available now as well as those coming in the next few years. From what little info I've gathered at this point, these rigs will most likely have a GTX 980 graphics card and at least 16 gigs of ram or something just as good. Something with a very powerful multi core processor, little or no problems with compatibility with many video games and good stability in general is also important. This isn't a must but I would also like one with a keyboard that has the number pad on the side and keys that light up in the dark.
Secondly, for what I'm looking for, I've heard that I should expect to spend around 5,000 dollars. I'm comfortable spending this much or even going higher, but like most of us, I'm trying to buy what I want as cheaply as I can. So I wnat to know where I can find these products online for cheaper than usual. Like using ebay or taking advantage of Cyber Monday (tomorrow) sales at a website like amazon. Whether through sales, bidding, coupons or whatever, I'm hoping to find something cutting edge (not used but new or refurbished) for under 4,000, or under 3,000 if I'm very lucky.
