Gaming/General Use Build.

Ok guy's so a couple of friends have started their new builds, one has gone the mini-ITX route and the other has gone for the full ATX route.

I'm now interested in building my self one, I've been down the ATX route, done it & loved it. Those my other mate is attempting to convince me to go mini-ITX. I did generally like the idea of having something so much smaller next to or even on my desk but i keep looking at bigger builds and bounce back & fourth.

I would be mainly using it for gaming and occasionally letting my better half go near it when she needs to book us the holidays lol.

I was hoping someone could shed some advice on what way to go? What was your preferences and why?

My budget was around the £700 mark originally, those it keeps increasing every time I look. I also keep looking at £1400 ATX builds that I want but probably wont utilize it all in terms of its worth.

Why are people so hooked on Radeon cards now too? I've had one and had a rough time with it, have they got better in a way?

No, the other reason is that were all get commission with AMD

There were driver issues in the past. Not any more. My 290 has been utterly blameless. You get more performance for less money. Hard to argue against.
