Gaming headset or BT headphones + mic

Hey guys,

I get my new laptop on Monday, and currently have on order a wired headset with DAC..

Should i be better with my current BT headphones (Bowers & Wilkins PX7 sE2) and a separate mic on a BOOM arm?

I ask this, as will Bluetooth on my headphones give much lag? If not, i might want to get a separate mic??

This is for gaming aspects, my golf needs require nothing for sound or gaming!

I think Bluetooth 5 which most new devices have shouldn't have any noticeable lag (some may argue but I think realistically you'll be fine). For me personally though I wouldn't like a seperate mic and prefer an "all in one" headset. I use a Steel Series Arctis 7 Pro which is wireless if that helps

Thanks, yeah. I was thinking the hassle of everything seperate.

Got some SS on the way now so see how I get on first.

I've got a set of Corsair Virtuoso XTs for calls and gaming on the PC, but I have recently invested in a Creative BT-W5 dongle to pair my Px8's and Ive not seen any lag at all in games.
