i bought a CORSAIR VIRTUOSO PRO with some vouchers form a competitor after seeing a good review online. unfortunately they are crap. I didnt release it needs a cable connected directly on each side. the right side clicks in nicely , the left side with mic doesnt click in at all, and as a result the audio and mic drops if you move the cable slightly.

any recommandations? needs to have sep mic and audio jack to plug into my Soundcard

The one that springs to mind for me is the Drop x EPOS PC38X includes separate single cable for console and longer split mic/earphone connector for PC use. Wonderfully tuned and fairly neutral sound and I think these are fantastic. The EPOS H6pro is a variant on these which uses the same driver albeit nowhere near tuned as well. More comfy though. c.£150 new. One criticism will be that the clap on them is very tight, particularly to begin with. And I don't know if the PC38X are going to be difficult to get moving forwards with EPOS being shuttered.

From PC manufacturers I can't personally think of anything that springs to mind. If you liked the sound out of the Crosair's that might mean you may be happy with something similar.

If you are considering a separate microphone, like an Antlion Modmic Uni (or USB, or Wireless) this does open up many more options; headphones like the HD 560S, TYGR 300R, Sundara's, K701/2 etc.

Agree with this i would probably go for the PC38X if I wanted an all in one headset.
