Gaming Headset?

Hi There...

My girlfriend wants a headset with mic for playing WoW - the motherboard in her PC doesn't have any front audio connections, so the front audio connections on her PC don't work. No pass through headphone socket on her speakers, either.

My thought was that a USB headset was the way to go, unless I'm missing an alternative solution? Are USB headsets any good? Any problems with them? Any suggestions on which headsets to look out for?

Icemat Siberias w/the USB soundcard are great but a cheaper option may be the Steelsound 5H (version 1 as they will drop in price after version 2 release) USB headset. Both have decent mics but the icemat ones are on a cable, not attatched to the headset itselff

the icemat mic is rubbish, i'd strongly advise getting the steelsound's over them! or get the sennheisers!
