just ran over my gaming headset and h'm looking to buy a new new I hear good things about the Razer Barracuda HP-1 but wondering what people thought on other available headsets

Personally ive never got on well with gaming headset find them a bit of a gimmick myself.
But recently had a set of Medusa 5.1 and Steelsound H2 is it cant remember the steelsounds were very tinny, the deagle on css sounded awful. The medusas were very good but the mic didnt last long, and they are quite heavy.
My last purchase was a set of Sennheiser HD515 and a cheap Desk mic. The headphones are excellent for both gaming and music imo. And miles better than any gaming headset ive had.

I've got a set of Sennheiser PC161 and they're really good.
Sound is excellent and the microphone is decent too, OcUK happens to be really cheap for them too

I went from some Speedlink Medusas to DT 770 Pros and a cheap desktop microphone and the improvement was amazing.
