Gaming hours

No more than 2 hrs at most on a weekday. On weekends... far too much.

GS relies more on how good you are in general with gaming. What would take a good gamer an hour could take an average gamer a few hours.

There are also the GS 'enthusiasts' who will use loopholes in games to get more GS too. Things like picking up Madden, playing as an all-star team, setting the difficulty to minimum and playing the weakest teams to ensure victory every time. You don't even have to play some of the EA sports games to get 500 or so GS (simulate seasons).

I think I've got my money's worth from most of my games :) Really need a good multiplayer game that keeps me going like CS did before they destroyed it somewhere around 1.5.

2 hrs a day max, but when i got fn3 i have to admit to basically playing it pretty much non stop over the weekend of its release.

Finished Condemned, COD, couldnt get on with Kameo, PGR i like for a quick blast, PDZ, bought it swapped it, bought it again, and now really enjoying it. but i gotta say GRAW does it for me is the best title yet, not my cup of tea usually, but the balance just seems right in this game, very addictive too. Finally becoming excited about gaming again, good old 360:)

I generally get an hour or two a night if Im lucky.

Only game Ive "completed" is Fifa, which I was less than impressed with. Completed the achievements then sold it on eBay.

I still have to complete Condemned and King Kong, gets more difficult as you pick up more games as you dont give the time to each one it deserves. I think Ill try to get King Kong out of the way this weekend if I can.

King Kong is a much better than you would think :) Its surprisingly fun with just spears, but thats me :) I really hated the Kong levels though, with a passion. Some of them went on forevvvver, and without going into that rage mode he's useless.

I've got loads of games and far too little time to play them. I spend two nights a week raiding in World of Warcraft, and the rest of the time I have to split between the XBox 360, PSP, my PC and of course, my fiancee. She gets the most of course :) She is also into Lemmings on the PSP so I can play on the 360 when she's over playing that. Result!! I'm gonna get her Animal Crossing on the DS when it comes out, see if she likes that. If she does, it'll mean I get to game a lot more :D

For example:

Currently I am playing:

PC:

World of Warcraft
Star Wars: Empire at War
Sid Meier's Pirates
Battlefield 2

PSP:

Lemmings
Everybody's Golf
Lumines
Burnout Legends

XBox 360:

PGR3
DOA4
GRAW
COD 2
King Kong

Currently watching:

Episodes of 24
The Sopranos Season 1
Scrubs Season 3
One Tree Hill Season 2
The O.C Season 3

Damnit, why can't I be filthy rich and not have to work :( It takes up too much time :D

SO far i've played:

PGR3 - 415 points (doubt i'll get any more)
COD2 - 200 points (now sold)
Condemned - 270 points (now sold)
PD0 - 50 points (can't be bothered getting any more...will probably trade it)
Kameo - 360 points (borrowed this off a mate)
Full Auto - 680 points (rented - returned)
Madden - 500 points (rented - still have it...can get another 500 easy points out of this)
GRAW - 225 points
FN3 - 0 points

I'm not terribly fussed about getting every last point out of every game. I rarely replay something once I have completed it or got bored of it.

Don't usually get the chance to play any games apart from Friday night - Sunday night where I usually get a good few hours of playtime.

Roughly 5 hours Friday night...
Roughly 12 hours Saturday (if I don't have any plans)
Roughly 7 hours Sunday

Are you really getting your moneys worth from a game before you buy another one?
Simple answer for me... NO!

I'm really bad for buying every game that I want as soon as its released. the problem is I find it very hard to swap between games, so instead of playing a bit of say 3 different games i'll play just one game until I get bored or tired then i'll stop.

My game play on each game is as follows:

Ridge Racer- played for a week until DOA 4 came out and haven't played it since.

DOA4- played loads the first few days now I just have the occasional online fight.

Kameo- Wasn't my thing and couldn't get into it enough to want to carry on so I sold it.

PGR3- Played through it on Silver, VERY rarely go back and try one or two gold events followed by a couple of online races.

Condemned- The first game in years i've actually completed. By completed I mean got to the end not 100% achievements. Sold that after I'd finished it.

King Kong- Haven't played in ages, got a little way into it. I will be going back to it at some point.

Full Auto- Played through single player. Still play this a lot but only online.

GRAW- Got a few missions in. Will play through single player but probably only a mission every few days then try a bit of online play.

Fight Night- This turned up yesterday. Had my biggest single gaming session in a LONG time on this last night... 4 hours solid which for me is a hell of a lot! Everything else is going to take a backseat for a while because of this.

So as you can see i'm really not getting my monies worth especially as many games that I 'plan' to go back to I probably never will :(

Totally agree, when playing I was thinking "I really wanna play as Kong" and then I get to Kong and think, "This sucks, first person is better". Ahh well.

Some of you fine upstanding chaps seem to have a rapidly expanding catalogue of games and a gazillion gamer points which led me to wonder .....

How much time a night are you guys playing for?

I've only completed COD2 since I bought the 360 at Xmas and have played a little of Condemned and a Little of Kameo and a fair bit of online PGR3 and some Full Auto.

I'm trying to avoid buying a new game until I finish an old one - ie finish Condemned and Kameo and FA before I buy anymore. Looking at your sigs some of you have GRAW FA NFS FN3 and Burnout.

Are you really getting your moneys worth from a game before you buy another one?

i get a game and take a day off (self-employed) and play for about 12-16 hours if its good. This is usually enough to finish it and get the acheivements. Where it isnt enough i simply put about 4-5hours a night in. This is only because my GF lives 200 miles away in surrey, when shes up here or i go down there i get approximately 0 hours and 0 minuites a day of playtime.

oh and with trade-ins and utilizing GAMES 10 day deal apart i have spent max of about £40 (got 2 games with console). played and finished about 7-8 games i think goin by my gamerscore

the spear throwing was excellent, roll on a 'Turok 360' or similar. but it was a bit like playing a movie. still some of the best graphics i have ever seen tho and pretty glitch free. Worth the small amount its going for on ebay etc.,

The FSAA blur effects (there are 2 I have experience) - 1 a T-Rex, the other was where you walk through the dinosaurs feet. Those were simply the most stunning graphics I have ever seen, it was as good as playing a movie.

I'm recently single so I play as much as I want. :D

Normally about 3 - 4 hours on weekdays depending on who's on live and the mood I'm in. :)

I just wanted to play as Kong the whole time, an entire game where you're Kong would suit me.

As long as there's plenty of large beasties to beat up and errr yeah that's about it really :p
