Hi

Was wondering just read a few product review comments on some of the new gtx 980 listed on ocuk. Where the buyer has upgraded and they say "now I am gaming in HD?"

What do they mean by this? Is it like they now moved up to 1080 or do they mean something else??

Cheers

Edit doh stupid iPad changed gaming to ganging grrrrr

'HD' is an abbreviation for 'high definition'. Nothing more, nothing less.

Likely marketing BS or someone who doesn't fully know what they're on about.

Yeah kinda gathered that but thought that was too obvious or me being thick lol

When I first read your post title I could only thing of one 'ganging' in HD but I'll elude to no more.

I imagine the framerates and the game settings are now both very high meaning they have much better image qualilty at whatever resolution they run as the 980 is a monster card.
