I'd sooner spend however much on a license for Windows than mess about trying to get it to work in Linux. As soon as an update comes out for say Steam, it's broke again.

card does not support pixel shader but that was never a problem with Windows XP as i have had the same ( all be it crappy) gfx card for a couple of years. (Geforce 4 mx440 64mb).

The Geforce 4 mx isn't supported according to the C&C3 system requirements. This also matches up with the log wine generated for him.
