Hi All,

Does anyone have experience of the LED's failing on these Keyboards or other issues

I don't need a Keyboard urgently but it was on offer so I thought I may take the plunge but it seems folks had issues with them and the LEDS a while back

I could always wait on something else going on offer but I thought I would ask- never had a Mechanical Keyboard so would be looking to choose something that will last without any issues

Have decided the MX Reds would be the key type for me

I have one of these and its been perfect from day one, had it for about a year now.

Personally if i would get a Ducky though :)
 
Ive had one for a while now, (bought secondhand on here). Has woeked great in the time ive had it.
 
Got 2 of them not a single issue. One is the very first released version and one is a later model. Both running for well over a year.
 
Also have two both around a year, sorry OP no problems either. Sure it's not a software issue? maybe reload the software?
 
Got a K70 red led keyboard, with MX Blues. Been using it since late 2015 iirc and it's been spot on perfect. I too was concerned about LED's and made a post on this forum back then asking for user experiences. So far so good anyway.
 
MX Reds are definitely my favourite choice of switches and I have them on my K70 RGB. I've heard the original K70 was prone to LED failure due to a static electricity problem on several occasions, but it obviously doesn't affect all of them as some people have had no issues at all. I know Corsair changed the way the LEDs are mounted with the K70 RGB version, but it also costs more too!... I managed to get a Corsair certified refurb at a decent price (and it's like new!). It's a great keyboard but I wouldn't want to pay the full asking price for it.
