Hi all,

Need some advice regarding a good gaming keyboard. :)

Atm, i have a MS media one, nothing special. I'm looking at getting maybe the G15 rev 2 or the Lycosa. But cant decide which.

The Lycosa is the perfect size as i dont have the biggest desk in the world so (pardon the pun) size is important. :D

Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the G15 Rev 2 please?

Any advice would be nice.
Cheers! :)

The Saitek Eclipse 2 is illuminated and a bit cheaper than the 2 that you have mantioned, i find it an excellent piece of kit.

You can change the backlight colour too :D

Make the sensible choice and choose the Microsoft Ergonomic 4000 ... if you want an RSI free life then I suggest you buy this or the 2000.

a lot of people don't realise the damage they are doing to themselves by using their keyboard and mouse for hours and hours on end, it's a serious problem that no doubt will cause many of you problems in the future ... i've seen people i know be diagnosed with RSI and they have now been forced to use the mouse with their opposite hand because the pain ... once you have it theres no turning back!

The MS Ergonimic 4000 keyboard is actually pretty sweet, it may take a little getting used to but it's a solid build and actually forces you to touch type properly! :) my typing skills have actually improved as result!

depends ........now if it just general FPS games you are playing id go for an eclipse especially if your desk isnt huge, if you play WOW or similar the Gkeys from the G15 are very handy and the lcd screen is more usefull than you would think.........

Any reason why you have not looked at the Razer Tarantula as another option ? I hear they are very good.
Bit too big tbh mate. and the lycosa is enough wedge. :)

The Saitek Eclipse 2, i did think about.

Try and get a 1st generation G15. Love mine.
Too big.

Well i just went and ordered the G15, thanks for the advice. i think i'll like it. :)

Got the G11 here,

took some getting used to but it's a lovely keyboard.

Pretty darn big though thats the only bummer, personally don't see the need for so many macro buttons. (18 * 3 memory mode things)! Seems a bit much. Wow geeks or something probably love it though.
