Have a friend who is looking at buying a new keyboard for gaming, some FPS and MMO's mostly

He has a strict upper budget of £100, less is better. Would like a backlight, but not required.

Spec away!

Have both the Corsair K90 and Gigabyte Osmium, the K90 is very good, the Osmium is better again.

I had a razer blackwidow which was pretty awful, now I have a CM STORM trigger with brown switches, its much better built than the razer board for the similar money.

The Gigabyte Osmium is looking like a good choice at the moment, unless anything else is considerably better?

Also, is the Corsair K95 expected to be around £100?

I don't see any Logitech keyboards mentioned here. I've been using a G11 for years and really like it, assuming their newer models are as good, I'd recommend them

Logitech G110 @ £59 (though of stock just now)

I've a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Stealth 2013, which I highly, highly recommend. Razer gets a lot of bad rap but as far as I can tell the build on the Blackwidows are superb. A couple of mates of mine have the Tournament edition and it's excellent too - top notch especially for the price.

Osmium or K90 would be a very good choice if back lighting is wanted. Also, a K95 is on its way, so possibly try waiting for that?

All those I have posted are MX Red, which is good for MMO's I find as they are a light switch.

K95 is gonna be super expensive (£130?).

Shame they sticked to reds. Would have preferred blacks, or brown keys.
