I'm looking to replace my current keyboard for a gaming one. I'm not sure I need a mechanical keyboard, but would really like to have 1/2 USB ports on it, audio input not needed and if possible, backlit with Blue as the rest of my setup is Blue.

Backlit is not 100% important, but I like it.

Any suggestions?

I have a Qpad Mk85 and that has everything you asking for except it's red however the Qpad Mk80 is in blue and it's pretty much the same.

Logitech G110 - 1 usb port, customizable backlighting, G keys, built in usb audio, price around £65, refurb £35.
Logitech G19 - 2 usb port, customizable backlighting, lcd screen, G keys, price around £99.

+1 on the Logitech G110. I have one, the blue lights are great, the USB Port is full speed, there are 12 GKeys, with 3 profiles, so 36 Shortcuts. Built in audio is decent quality. The price is great. Why not?

I recently bought the Corsair K90. Its an absolute killer, although you can assure a bit of your money is going into the brand name its a solid keyboard and uses the not so noisy cherry red switches. You can guarantee that it will take a beating but beware.. not all the keys are mechanical (F keys and Macro keys although not used a lot)

This^

I am very happy with mine.

How do you find the quality & the noise of the mechanical keys?
.

The quality is excellent and tbh I don't find cherry red to be all that noisy. I mean they are louder than your average rubber dome type key but I never notice it, and I much prefer it over that type, which I have to use at work daily.
