Gaming laptop ~£2k budget

Going to be in the market soon for a new gaming laptop. Currently have a MSI 17” laptop, 970m i7 which is starting to show its age.

Essentially want the best power for my money so it lasts longer. Considering dropping down to a 15” laptop is my current is kinda big and cumbersome sometimes, but I do like the bigger screen! Obviously a lot more expensive though so I’m leaning towards a better specced 15”.

Any suggestions within that budget?

I’d say it depends precisely on what type of machine you are looking for. Laptops are smaller diagonally now as the bezels are smaller so a new 17” should be smaller than your current 17”.

The build isn’t the most premium though, for a more premium build you will need to drop down in performance or increase your budget.
