Hey,

My younger sister has been wanting to play proper games for years on her laptop (can't even run minecraft properly...) and my parents don't have enough money to be spending on one, so iv'e decided to save up for one for her.

Looking around it seems im going to be out of luck as most half decent ones start around £1000. She is fairly young so I am not fussed on graphics and would like something which can run games on low/medium settings for some games now and future ones.

Anything out there at all?

Edit : I may possibly stretch to just over £1000 if there is a massive difference.

For me the best bang for your money is this atm:

MSI GX60 Destroyer

Yes the CPU is not the best however the GPU is a rebrand of the Mobile 7970M/8970M and will be good for some time, mantle support will help with CPU bottle neck.

Failing that l would suggest this:

Gigabyte P25K-CF1
