Hi guys, i am looking to spend under £500 on a laptop, that will many be used for gaming. Do you guys have any recommendations? Are the AMD A8 with extra gpu's any good? Cheers
I just grabbed one the other day, cracking value
Ordered this one myself except it also has a discrete 7450M. Couldn't believe the specs for £499. How well are you guys finding it? I'm hoping it will give a great improvement over my PII N930+5470M. Probably the most stressful game I'll play is StarCraft II on it.
Actually, it is. It's hybrid crossfire: http://www.amd.com/us/products/technologies/dual-graphics/pages/dual-graphics.aspx
EDIT: 7450M apparently is a rebadged 6490M, so with the 6620G it becomes HD 6645G2. Hmm... guess I'll have to do some testing.
Can anyone with one of these laptops let me know if you run World Of Warcraft and what sort of experiance you get. Thanks.
very intersting, my daughter's got the other one now. I may well bu another to OC and run VDJ.
Snaggster: Did you do a clean install?
Just wondered, If I buy another I'll use it purely for DJ software and folks usually recommend starting form scratch and really purging that bloat
I took a bit of a gamble last night and got a MSI cx705.
How will it do for games!? Was going to get the HP one mind.
Intel duel core t4500
