Gaming laptop in the £700-£800 range

My brother wants to get a gaming laptop and mine and our parents budget is around 700-800 quid. He'll most likely be using it to play Fortnite and other multiplayer shooters; he doesn't really play simulation games like Cities: Skylines, but if there's an option that can handle both types of games all the better.

I've currently been looking at the HP 'Victus 15-fb0003na' (as there is a sale currently on their website) and the 'Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3'. Would these be good choices, or are there better options for a similar price?

I've also been recommended the Lenovo Legion 5 with AMD Ryzen 5 and RTX 3060

instead of creating another thread I am actually looking for advice for similar looking to sell my old macbook pro and invest in a gaming laptop with the same budget maybe stretch to £900.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.
