Gaming laptop mashup

Hi all,

I couldn't decide which out of an Alienware M15x with i7 720 and HD5850 or MSI GX660R with i5 460 and HD5870, so I bought them both. Now i'm thinking about taking the best parts from both and putting them in the best overall chassis. Does anybody have any thoughts about a) whether this is possible and b) which combo would be the best? Also c) is it worth bothering at all?

Have to say no to c. I would keep the one you prefer the look of and just sell the other. Then use the funds from that sale to buy an ssd for the one u wanted and pocket the change.

Does anybody know which of the above machines has the best overall cooling power. I'm considering switching a 6970M in.

Ok I guess not. Does anybody know what the difference between the 5850M and the 5870M is? The alienware just reports its GPU as a 5800M series.
