Gaming Laptop recommendations for less than £1000

I built a gaming PC a few years back but due to sitting at a desk for work all day I found it a bit of a chore to use my PC. I switched back to console with a Series X which I am enjoying, especially with game pass.

I’m missing being able to play a few select titles that have caught my eye since leaving PC. Namely Lost Ark, Ready or Not and V Rising. I’m not looking to play any AAA releases at 1440p or 4K. High refresh rate 1080p with a decent screen will do.

The only big release I’d maybe like to play is the Final Fantasy 7 remake as there doesn’t seem to be any sign of this coming to Xbox.

Just looking for recommendations preferably sub £1000.

For sub £1000 you can currently pick up a Lenovo Legion 5 with an RTX 3070 and 16GB ram at a popular hot deal website. If not available for that price as OcUK.

I’ll second the recommendation for the Legion 5 with 11800H/16GB RAM/512GB SSD/3070/15.6” 1080p@165Hz screen that’s been recommended above.

Damn. Literally just got the Ryzen version of this for 1100. Great laptop though

lenovo for that price, cheap gaming laptops are very cheap tat these days in my opinion but lenovo at least know how to make a half decent case

Full power GPU too, others cheap out and put a TDP limited version in.

and it is easy to get spare parts if you do repairs yourself
