Hi guys. Currently im running an i7 965 with a 7970.

It is becoming very impractible for me to have a full desktop rig. I am usually on mumble with mates playing flight sims or Arma 3 of a night. Presently my rig is in the living room and the missus is starting to grumble.

I'm looking for a gaming laptop with a 17 inch screen, that Is not going to be a massively noticeable downgrade from my current machine.

Have been looking at 8970 crossfire machines with a 4700mq cpu, and a machine with a gtx 780 in.

I literally just play Arma 3 and Cliffs of dover/rise of flight/battle of Stalingrad flight sims.

Any thoughts as to the best setup? It will almost certainly be a Clevo based machine due to cost.

Wondering if anybody plays Arma 3 on a similar setup?

My P170EM with a single GTX 680M struggles a little on ArmA3, so as you have stated, a xfire or SLI setup would be best.

Read up about this laptop. The Aorus mentioned uses 765M in SLI. The Asus has 1 780M which is the best mobile GPU out there currently. also its cooling is better than most other laptops
