Gaming laptop?

I'm looking to buy a gaming laptop but i have no idea what's good and what's ****. I've got a budget of £700 and want something that'll play most games.
Can someone recommend me a good laptop and where to get it from?

my girlfrind just got an acer aspire 5735 which don't look bad but i want something more.
Seen one on meshcomputers.co.uk ASUS X71SL but my friend said the gfx card's no good

Not looking for something that'll play crysis as i know i'd need something like alienware.
Just want something that;d run something like stalker pretty decently
