The time I will have to replace my currently used laptop is coming inexorably yet I am worried whether there exists machine to meet my requirements.
What I am looking for is a laptop with 14-15' screen which will let me play more demanding games (and is VR capable), do some coding and let compute some math stuff (matlab, mathematica, maple as examples). The most important requirement is a screen, and here it's getting hard.
There is Asus Zephyrus, which is amazing thanks to the slim factor and good enough components, but it only supports FHD screen, which isn't that bright too. On the other hand, we have AW 13 r3 with its astonishing OLED, hi-res, 400 nits bright screen but 13' is a little low and it's kind of big for the 13 inches.
There is also Acer Triton 700 coming, but it's going to share Asus's decision and feature FHD screen.
I am aware of the fact that there might not be a laptop with 2k+, bright screen in the slim factor with the VR capable HW and cooling capabilities yet thus I would like to ask you if there are any upcoming machines that might meet above requirements. I am not in the hurry.
The perfect solution would be Asus Zephyrus or Acer Triton 700 with 2k, glossy screen.
