gaming monitor advice

ASUS 27" ROG Swift PG279QM 2560x1440 IPS 240Hz 1ms G-Sync LED Backlit Widescreen Gaming Monitor

would this monitor be any good or is there a better one or better price that does the same also I am looking at getting, well waiting for an Asus 3080 strix card.

am guessing this is 4k as I don't see any reason for 8k yet..

So for 4k what size a 30? I thought it was about refresh rate?

From all your helpful replies it seems to me 1440p is enough I play a lot of fps games and 4k would just be overkill and possibly wouldn't tell the difference so the lg monitor posted here looks a great monitor for the money. Also the gpx card I am waiting for would be an 3080 or the ti version but at 1440p the 3070 might be more than enough.

This is what i thought better to go with QHD then 4k as I may not tell difference.

Was thinking of getting two of these for my setup and maybe an ultra wide wouldn't fit but is an ultra wide worth having instead two monitors?

Two monitors have an advantage of what I need but I I like games a lot.... Will have to think it though..
