Gaming monitor for a budget

Great shout memory, however I wasn't clear by my post. Currently I have a 19inch lcd but I want a widescreen monitor and have decided that my budget can stretch to a 22-24inch.

How is the ocuk value 24"?

Go for the Asus VH226H, i got one last week to go with my BFG GTX 280OC and its a VERY nice monitor, i can't fault it in anyway.
People complain about the backlight bleed but unless your sat in a dark room looking at a black screen then you wont be able to notice it.

How does it look when you tone down the rez? Also it says hdmi, does that mean it's hdcp compliant and will work with a PS3?

as far as i know...all lcd monitors lose their sharpness when running in non-native resolution.

also if you want it for gaming then a number of the 22" monitors have a 2ms response time which is great for gaming.
