Hello to all who read this....:P
I've got a bit of a problem i have been out of the hardware loop for a while and im looking for a new monitor to go with a 8800gts 320mb i have just got.
The only problem is i need a monitor which is good for gaming and has 1:1 pixel mapping as when new games come out and my gfx cant cope i can use a lower res and keep the aspect ratio.
the monitor i use ATM is a "hannsg hw191d" and i would like to keep to that size but i could be tempted to go 20 inch
thx for reading:)

Dont gfx cards drivers handle 1:1 pixel mapping now as well.
ATI CCC does it on my monitor that does not have it built in.

I know what you mean in that it will be a while till the 8800gts cant cope, but i would be surprised if it will even run crysis maxed out....
and i know a lot of cards have 1:1 pixel mapping has a software option for this but not all monitors support this as the internal scaler still scales the image up to full the whole screen. which my old 7900gs and hanns.g hw191d does
so any ideas on a good 19" or 20" monitor that has hardware 1:1 pixel mapping, or supports software pixel mapping at a driver level?
thx 2 @
