Please can anyone recommend a gaming monitor for me.

Budget is £160

27 inch in size ideally

If possible g sync but I dout that.

G sync for 160 quid? G sync alone adds at least that much to the cost of a monitor. You won't be getting G sync or even Freesync for that price. You're looking at bog standard 24 inch and cheap-o 27 inch monitors. Probably TN. You can snag a cheap ips 24" if you look around. 60Hz.
