So, my old (~15 years maybe) Dell monitor running at 60Hz is a bit naff for gaming these days, so I'm upgrading to 144/165, but, do I want to be sticking at 1920x1080, or go higher..

Obviously higher will mean a higher PPI, but do I really need to be gaming at 2560x1440, and what card should I really be looking at, I managed to grab a 3060Ti but will it run Warzone (Pretty much all I play atm) at that res at that refresh rate?

Yes a 3060ti will easily do that at 1440p, assuming competitive settings. Best bet is the Dell S2721DGF which was launched fairly recently.

I was looking at the iiyama G-Master GB2760QSU-B1, not the cheapest monitor of that spec but not top end either.

I honestly think it would be a crime to use a 3060Ti on a 1080p monitor!! Yes, I would certainly go for a faster refresh rate and a higher res.

Higher refresh is a cert, 144/165, its the resolution I'm not sure on, do I go wide 3840 or whatever it is, or 2560, either by the 1440..
