Hi all,

Iv been using a Logitech gaming mouse for the last year I got for a present, the only problem is that I get slight hand cramps as my hand isn't quite relaxed gripping it. Think my problem is my large palms,

So just wondering if any of you guys have this issue and any reccomendations for a new one?

Thanks!

You might also consider a trackball. I have large hands and the Kensington Orbit Elites fit well. If you're right-handed, you could also consider the Logitech M570.

Have you tried the Logitech MX performance? Ive had mine for a couple of years and bar the need to recharge every week or so, find it fits my med large hand fine.

thread hi jack

i have an Logitech MX518, and my hands are cramping up , also it needs a replacement anyway, i want a bigger mouse too, and more buttons !

so im looking for a bigger mouse too

Typical answer would be a EC1-A. But I could never get to grips (literally) with my EC1. It's shaped weird, forcing you into a very specific grip.

ZA11, much better. Feels quite big in the hand. I liked mine a lot, but sold it for a G403, which I prefer overall.

G403 IMO also feels substantial, despite technically, being smaller than a EC1. But It's not shaped as weird as a EC1, and is more relaxed about what grip you can use. And also, from my experience, better buttons, sensor, wheel, worse cable (but hey, par for the course when it comes to braided cables). Oh, and they have a wireless version, which is really nice, I'm told.

If you want the king of the large mice, look into something equivalent to a Intellimouse explorer 3.0 (IE3). There are a few 'inspired' clones (Alcor, Rival 300, EC1), but none hitting the mark.

Mionix Castor, maybe. In the Deathadder camp.

And I would steer away from QPad 5K, Mionix Naos. Their's OK (Had a 4K), but really... idiosyncratic (bit of a one-trick-pony that you may not like).

Thanks for your post Olivier, i will look into all those!
cheers

EDIT///

I am pretty sure i have claw grip

For claw, while still big, I'd still look at the ZA11 (which is what it's designed to be, a big claw mouse, with a big butt for palm support).

G402? I've forgotten that one. Suppose to be the successor to he MX series (and G400, which is basically a MX mouse).

Loads of smaller claw grippers though. Roccats, ZA12, FK1+, DM1 Pro S. I would avoid 2nd tier mice (coolermaster, madcatz, and the cheapo Chinese stuff).

Hmm, that'd be weird. Dimensions should be available, and should be the same. The smaller ones are the ZA12 and ZA13. Basically the same mice but smaller.

well, i googled ZA11, linked to rain-forest, checked dimensions,
also says there's a newer version, so i click on that, re check the dimensions and they are different

there isnt much bigger than the mx518 shape. the ec1-a oliver mentioned is smaller. just about everything is smaller lol

The razor ouroboros apparently is bigger, as is the rog spatha but i dont know how that translates to how it actually feels in the hand. if the mx518 is too small then dont even bother with the likes of the G502 for example which although longer than the mx518 definitely doesnt feel as big in the hand.

i use the mionix naos 8200 and its easily the best mouse ive tried.
good large size, i also use claw grip and to me this mouse is perfect for that

highly recommend this mouse

I strongly recommend the new Logitech Master MX.

It's a good follow-up to the old Revolution MX.

(we ignore the Performance MX - that was a budget model)

Anyone tried the Cougar Revenger ? I have a Cougar 700M which is great but I would like a bit more in the palm for comfort, so to speak.
