Gaming Mouse + Mat advice?

I have currently a G9 that is in bad state and i dont really like the shape etc.. on a crappy mat.

Anyone recommand me a new mouse and a new mat? For gaming mainly, a few hours a day. I don't game as much as before but still a few hours a week still!
 
With these threads, people normally only reccomend what they're using themselves.

Using Razer Deathadder and icemat, but your better off finding out what you like yourself really, as everyone is different
 
I have a logitech g5 and a everglide titan gaming mat. I like the mosue fits my hand shape well and its really smooth with the mouse mat, and not too costly. One thing i would say the mouse wheel takes a bit of getitng used to cause its kinda sensitive but once you get used to it it seems better.
 
been using my MX510 for a few years and its only just started to break, (i can be aggressive with it lol) anyway i have been eyeing up

Logitech G5 Gaming-Grade Laser Mouse (910-000094)

and i know its miles beter than my MX510 which is fandabbydozy!

Logitech MX518 gaming mouse, always used logitech since day one, there customer service is amazing also!
My mouse mat is basically just a Bulmers Original cider beer mat I stole from work, works a treat... also have a Kroneberg and Koppenberg they are about 1 meter long and 30 cm wide, has enough room for my keyboard, mouse and a drink to put on :D
 
not so much a gaming mouse but im nearly always top score in cod4 and i use an mx revolution with a steelpad
works great for me but i always use low dpi anyway
