Well basically I am going to get another mouse since my cheap one is falling apart (no joke). So is it best to get the gaming mouse mat too?

I was looking at the exact mat + the wrist rest for £30. Now is it worth it?

I like the wrist rest because I have a pull out desk.

No they sell the exactmat but not with the wrist rest and I use a mouse with my wrist on the wrist rest and fingers on the mouse, don't actually have my palm on the mouse or my full hand.

I was going to buy a Razer mouse either something like the Copperhead or the DeathAdder, and buy the exactmat + wristrest with it for compatibility reasons, the Razer mice have been made to be compatible and tested with it.

^/^^ uh, whichever one is best for all, the exact mat is supposed to have one side for speed and the other for control?

not being funny but there are countless threads on this and it all comes back to the same general rule of thumb which is :

if you are a high sens user get a hard mat (my recommendations are steelpad 4s or S+S)

if you are a low sensitivity user get a cloth mat (recommendations are everglide Titan or everglide DKT)

i'm currently on a titan and it's just perfect, i used to be sponsored by eveglide in a team i was in and was given a DKT and that was also brilliant, they last well and also feel great!

Honestly how am I supposed to know I have a £10 mouse, £10 keyboard and a £10 3 year old mouse mat. Thats all I've used.

I use the exactmat with the wrist rest & it's great, contol on one side & speed on the other.Great mat :D Use it with a G5

I'm using an exactmat aswell. It's great. I'm using an older Razer Viper mouse, and the mouse mat is so smooth i can actually blow onto the mouse and it'll slide off the mouse mat :p

edit: The only downside from this mouse mat, is that if you use it for a long time, you get sweat puddles building up on the surface.. this can mess up your mouse when your using it as the laser reflects or something along those lines :o
