Hey, i didnt know what baord to post this in. So i posted it here :)

Well i was wondering i need a gaming mouse, i want to spend around 30 quid. I have looked at both the Raptor M2 and the Razer Diamondback, and int he reviews they both have reasonably good reviews but in some reviews both have bad points.

I just want to ask people out there who are gamers what mouse to choose, i havent got my heart set on oen of those two mices but i would like a mouse for around 30. Any comments would be apprieciated.

Thanks

Well if the admins think it should be moved, im sure they will move it :)

Any comments on the mouse?

being left handed i need an ambidextrous mouse because left hand mice arnt made :( i dont think.. so i use Razer. i have a Copperhead which can be had for around £45 which is more than you want to spend. i can pretty much guarantee that a Diamondback will more than satisfy you :) but try and get a decent mousemat as well.

mx1000 here

i like the long battery life and i use all of the extra buttons too :)

do you have a preference over wired or wireless ?
id reccomend wireless as the mouse is free to move. and these days all high wend wireless mice have a superb connection. theres no kind of 'lag' that you could ever notice.

MX5's ?... what do you guys like about it ?

I have tried the razer mouse and it was a waste of money.

Look for a mouse with extra side button (essential) Look for something thats going to fit the size of your hand and be comfortable (essential for extended playing)

Other than that its a waste of money imo especially since you will get better results by changing the mouse settings on the game itself.

Having said that the best mouse I ever had was a Belkin gaming mouse ballbearing type, until it fell apart :/!

I use a Genius Ergo 525

its a 2000dpi laser mouse and was about £25

Brilliant value and works great.
