Hi,

So im going to be needing a new mouse ASAP, I cant actually game at the moment due to the fact my Razer Deathadder 2013 is now suffering from the left click issues, ( random double clicks or doesn't click at all )

Before this mouse I used the original Diamond Back for 8 years, this mouse is only 2 years old and dying,

I did see Razer have released a revamped Diamond Back which seems to have mixed reviews,

I play various games, so I need an all rounder,

Clearly unlike other hardware a mouse/keyboard isn't something you really swap out a lot.

I did try the Mamba when it first came out, but it suffered from that horrible issue with the lazer, and did not work at all, so it had to go back, i have friend who say the mamba's since then are great,

Has anyone picked up a new mouse recently that they can recommend for gaming, and if so, did you pick up a new gaming surface for it too?

Cheers

Depends what you want from it.
To me, a gaming mouse has reasonable DPI/polling, loads of buttons, macro & on-board memory capability, profiles and maybe a few LEDs... Most of the ones everyone else here chooses are just 4-button things, it seems... never sure what makes them better, unless it's down to the hand-fit?

So yeah - What are your requirements?

Fixing your deathadder is a cheap and easy option. Uses a standard Omron D2FC-F-7N switch which can be swapped out.

I would personally avoid Razer, I had the original Deathadder and the 2013 edition one and both developed the left click rubbish, Will never get Razer anything again.

Get a Zowie mouse or a Steelseries Rival. Best I have used.

Im using the logitec g402, great little mouse, not too many buttons but enough for a couple of macros, and allows for tuning sense on the fly.
