Hi Guys,

I have a Shogun Bro's Ballista Mk-1 at the moment and I am not too fond of it, been using it a couple of years now and think its time for a change, away from a laser sensor!
I am thinking of going back down the optical route and have my eyes on the Roccat Kone XTD Optical Max Customisation Gaming Mouse which seems to be an excellent mouse. I have a Rocatt mechanical keyboard which is great!
What do you guys make of this mouse, anyone using it?
Open to any other suggestions.

Have used a couple, although I own the Kova myself (picked up the wrong box in the shop, but CBA to go back and change it). In essence, I liked it enough to try and buy it on a whim.

Fairly solid basics, good performance, good feel (fills the hand) for Claw or Palm.
Software can be a little annoying, mainly because of the Action Movie guy's overenthusiastically overdramatic voice going, "Profile ONE... Profile TWO... WIN-dows Profile" every time you switch!! :D

Seems OK. Logitech features usually pretty decent. I favour the G700S myself, as I like many buttons.
I'd want to physically try one out for feel first, but others like them well enough.

Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum RGB Tunable Gaming Mouse really liking the look of this too! Any comments?

I have both the G502 and a G700 so here's my opinions on both.

G502 - Not a huge fan of the design but it feels better to use but is corded.

G700 - I prefer the understated design of this and the wireless but it's not as responsive.

Saying that, both are great mice and very comfortable for my type of grip.

^ Should possibly mention - I Claw-grip and find the 700 works better for that, especially with larger hands. I can rest the palm but it's a touch small compared to the Kone.

Same here, I claw-grip too but my hands aren't that large so maybe that's why the different opinion.

I got it last week and so far am loving it. It is super sensitive and you can pretty much customise anything about it. Took me a little while to get used to the sensitivity compared to my old mouse but once you do you won't look back.

It feels really comfortable to hold as well which is cool and the software is good.

Cheers for the replies all, going to order this mouse I think!
