It'll work but you should be aware that you won't be able to add any more IDE devices since that mobo, like most nowadays, have but one IDE host controller.

Do you really need Ultimate? Investigate and see if Home Premium would do waht you need to do.

Where's the video card?

If you're to be overclocking you'll need an aftermarket CPU cooler. I prefer the Tuniq Tower.

updated the correct screen dump, BitLocker I like the look of, Remote Desktop Connection would be handy while I'm away from the computer and need to gain access to files urgently, that's it really, is that mobo ready for the new cpu's coming soon you know dude?

there is other 3rd part RD companies such as logmein etc. may be a cheaper solution

That mobo will take the upcoming Penryn processors.

ty for that BillytheImpaler, and to joshlane, I used logmein, at first was ok to use but then just went all pies up and removing it from my now pc, was hell! Apart from the Ultimate thing, all looks aok so will be ordering coming Monday morning! :D

if you are ocing, why not get some Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 PC2-6400C5 TwinX (2x2GB), this way you wont have to OC the ram for the higher CPU OCs

£129.24 inc VAT

You would never use it.... not ever.... not even half.... it's a waist of money... but it's in this week only... buy it anyway....

ROFL yeah 8gb memory overkill! Tempting at that price but think 4gb would suffice for now till my next major upgrade, but even so still wouldn't it be bottlenecked by the cpu?

Just want to make sure before I buy this in a mo, suitable for gaming at 1650*1050 on a Sammy 2232BW, for use with adobe, some video editing and dvd authoring, will be over clocking so yeah thats it lol
