Gaming NUC or similar

Hello guys

I’m looking to maybe build a computer to run various emulators SNES etc. I have a gaming pc which I was going to hook up to my tv in the living room but then thought about the idea of obtaining a second hand NUC or Lenovo Tiny PC.

Has anyone done this or can recommend any ideas?

Is there a reason you need a PC? For the SNES era you would get away with a £12 Pi Zero.

yeah I did think about that route which isn’t a bad shout. I thought about using it for game pass etc too.
Would the PI zero be adequate for ps1 emulation too?

Yeah, go for a Pi Zero 2, but If you want more grunt then the Pi 4 is a fair bit faster still and will allow you to upscale a little.

thanks I’ll have a look at those. Any particular emulator / image you’d recommend installing to it?
